Dollar Climbs to Rs. 106.17 in Interbank Market

Web Desk (July 7, 2017): Dollar prices have hiked again in the Interbank market , while the rate climbed to Rs. 106.17 after a spike of Rs. 0.47.

The dollar rate has also increased by Rs 0.30 in the open market. The new price of dollar in open market was last recorded as Rs. 106.80.

The sudden downward graph trend in the rupee value has been related to the current political situation. The investors’ interests have had a significant impact on the economic situation.

Earlier, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday said that investigation into to what he said artificial raise in the value of US dollar against Pak Rupee will be carried out.

He was talking to media after presiding over a meeting of heads of private banks and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) officials in Islamabad regarding the plunge in rupee value against dollar on Wednesday.
