RIYADH: At least seven people have been died and several others injured as downpour caused havoc in Saudi Arabia.
Floods also destroyed a number of houses, blocked roads and overturned vehicles. Many areas submerged and roads swept due to floods and heavy rains in the country. Many people were injured due to rain related accidents.
The rain inundated various parts of Qunfudah governorate and washed away large sections of the international road linking Jeddah and Jazan. The downpours destroyed drain system in the country and the officials asked the citizens to avoid unnecessary journey.
