KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party leader Dr Asim Hussain on Wednesday called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair at Governor House in Karachi.
While talking to Dr Asim, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair said that Federal Higher Education Commission is taking measures to encourage research based education in universities.
Research based higher education in the province and universities role were discussed in the meeting. Sindh governor assured to provide every possible facility for research work and to resolve the universities issues.
Muhammad Zubair was of the view that the youth in Pakistan are much talented. During the meeting, the governor directed the Sindh Higher Education Commission to prepare a comprehensive strategy in order to promote research-oriented education in the province.
