In Accountability court, another officer of Chartered Accountant firm has recorded his statement as a witness of Gas quota case, while court has adjourned the hearing till May 26.
Dr Asim’s Gas quota case was heard in the Accountability court, including Dr Asim Hussain, Basharat Mirza, Zahid Bakhtiyar and several suspects were presented in the court, suspects has accused of causing loss of 462 billion in National treasure.
During the case hearing, officer of Chartered Accountant firm Mukhtar Hussain has presented his annual audit report of 2004 to 2014.However, as a Assistance of the audit firm during cross-examination, he adopted stance that he went to record his statement from the office of NAB, while investigative officer has never arrived in his office.
Advocate Anwar Mansor said that NAB has severely damage the reputation of Dr Asim, the auditor who made report was not presented in the court.
