Former MQM leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder case investigation officer FIA’s inspector Shahzad Zafar has been prevented to investigate and Customs Department inspector Malik Ahsan Javed has been appointed as new investigation officer.
On special directions by Interior Ministry, the FIA investigation officer Inspector Shahzad Zafar has been prevented to investigate Dr. Imran Farooq murder case, while Customs department Inspector Malik Ahsan Javed was appointed as new investigation officer in Dr. Imran Farooq murder case.
Shahzad Zafar Chaudhary was also removed from his position as SHO Counter Terrorism Wing and sudden change of investigation officer could affect the investigation of case of such an important matter.
According to sources, new investigatio officer Inspector Malik Ahsan Javed will be less experienced and will have less information of the case as compared to Inspector Shahzad Zafar.
