DUBAI: Pakistan has defeated England with a massive victory of 178 runs and have taken lead of 1-0 in three test matches series, while Captain Misbah-ul-Haq, Youis Khan, Asad Shafiq, yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar were proved to be diamond for second test match.
England started its second incomplete innings with 130/3 runs on fifth and last day of second test match, being played in Dubai. Joe Root returned to pavilion after scoring 71 runs. Leg Spinner Adil Rasheed’s 61 runs innings could not be fruitful for English team, after which the whole team could only score 312 runs all out.
Pakistani Leg Spinner Yasir Shah took four wickets and collectively eight wickets in the match. Zulfiqar Babar took three, while Imran Khan took two wickets. Earlier, Pakistan had scored 378 runs in its first innings, in response to which English team could score 242 runs all out.
Pakistan had declared its innings at 354/6 in second innings and gave a target of 491 to England. National Team Captain Misbah-ul-Haq scored 189 runs including a century. Younis Khan also scored a century with a collective score of 174 runs. Asad Shafiq made two half centuries and scored 162 runs collectively.
