At least 16 people were killed, whereas one injured was in critical condition as the fire engulfed the Address hotel in Dubai before the beginning of New Year celebration.
However the fire was brought under control i after several hours efforts in Dubai Hotel capital of United Arab Emirates. According to onlookers fire started at 9:30pm at local time. First explosion occurred at 20th floor of 5-Star hotel and with rapidly fire wrapped other floors as well.
Due to intensifying of fire upper part of the hotel was also damaged. Millions of people were present at the time of incident in connection of New Year eve. After the blaze surrounding areas of hotel were evacuated.
