Happy birthday, Dwayne Johnson! – The Rock
WEB DESK (May 3, 2017): The 45-year-old planned on celebrating his big day with an early start at the gym, but not before being stopped by his 1-year-old daughter, Jasmine.
The star took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her sitting on his lap right before he left the house, writing, “Was putting’ on my shoes to get ready to hit the gym before I go to work.”
“This lil’ mama surprised me by running’ into my arms and yelling ‘Daaaahdeeeeee’ which in my mind clearly means, Happy birthday daddy!” he continued. “You’re the coolest daddy on the planet and the sexiest man alive. now go crush your workout and keep stayin’ woke.”
Johnson’s Baywatch costar Zac Efron also took to Instagram to wish the actor well, posting a photo of them posing for their film.
“Happy Birthday @therock,” Efron wrote. “Thanks for bringing us, the people, your hard work, honor and justice, every single day… and for your sexy eyebrows.”
The actor took to Twitter to thank fans and colleagues for their messages, writing, “Thank you guys so much for the morning’ birthday wishes. Another years.. Im a lucky SOB. Now get out there and have a productive day.”
He also received a special message from his Fate of the Furious costar Vin Diesel, who posted a photo of the two on Instagram.
“To look back at what we have accomplished. Shoulder to shoulder, against impossible odds. Proud…,” Diesel wrote. “Happy Birthday Hobbs.”
The two were recently rumored to be in a feud, but Diesel, 49, recently cleared the air in an interview with USA Today.
“I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way,” Diesel said. “I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne.”
