The Senate in its session on Monday (today) approved resolution for paying homage to Abdul Sattar Edhi and others two more for condemnation for Indian aggression in Kashmir and murder of famous Qawal Amjad Sabri while it rejected NAB ordinance amendment 2015.
The senate session was held today in chair of the Senate chairman Raza Rabbani. The house proceedings started with prayers for departed souls of Abdul Sattar Edhi, Amjad Sabri and martyred kashmiris.
On the other hand, leader of the house, Raja Zafar Ul Haq presented the resolution to pay homage to great philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi and house approved the resolution with consensus while Chairman Senate announced that every senator will donated 20000 Rs from salaries of July.
The house also approved condolence motion for renowned qawal Amjad Sabri. The resolution also stressed federal and provincial government to take actions for arrest of culprits.
The upper house also approved condemnation resolution against recent Indian atrocities and brutalities in Occupied Kashmir. The resolution demanded that India must end human rights violation and Kashmir dispute should be resolved as per the UN security council resolutions.
