Earthquake Jolts Several Parts of Country

ISLAMABAD: Moderate 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan including federal capital on Wednesday afternoon which led to panicked residents coming out on the streets.

The quake shook Islamabad, Peshawar, landi Kotal, Swat, Khyber and surrounding areas.

The depth of the earthquake was measured to be 159 kilometres while Koh Hindukush was identified as the epicentre of the earthquake.

As per the report no casualties have so far been reported.
