Mexico City (February 19, 2018): A magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck southern Mexico early on Monday, sending frightened residents into the streets as seismic alarms echoed across the capital, although there were no immediate reports of damage.
The magnitude 5.9 quake hit 43 km (27 miles) east of Oaxaca at a depth of 10 km at 0656 GMT, the US Geological Survey said.
