Earthquake shocks felt at coastal belt of Karachi

 

KARACHI: Earthquake shocks were felt at coastal belt of Karachi, while the quake intensity was recorded 2.0 magnitude on Richter scale, which centered in the sea.

Coastal area of Karachi was jolted at two past 46 minutes in the morning, after which the residents came out of their houses in fear. Earthquake shocks were felt in Korangi, Ibrahim Haidery and Landhi, while some houses were cracked in Ibrahim Haidery.

According to seismological center, the earthquake’s intensity was recorded 2.0 magnitude, which was 10 kilometers deep, while its center point was 30 kilomters away sea from coastal belt of Karachi. The quake shocks were felt on 129 kilometer long coastal belt.
