Islamabad (August 27, 2017): Earthquake Shocks were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and surrounding areas of twin cities.
According to details, the shocks were also felt in Mardan, Haripur, and Abbottabad. The shocks were felt for 10 seconds at 5:24 pm according to Pakistan Standard Time, while the shocks intensity was recorded 5.0 magnitudes on Richter scale, whereas the center of quake was 70 kilometer North from Mengura.
A fear erupted among people in Abbottabad, Haripur and surrounding areas due to strong shocks and people came out of their houses while reciting Kalma-e-Tayyeba.
