ISLAMABAD: Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved laying off all the employees of Pakistan Steel Mills.
The ECC meeting took major decisions today which was held in Chair of Prime Minister Special Assistant on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shiekh.
The huddle approved all the employees of the Pakistan Steel Mills to be laid off while all will be provided with the golden handshake.
Besides it also approved supplementary grants for various government departments while it also approved a technical grant of Rs 8.84 billion for the Western Border Management (WBM) while the amount will be used on capacity building of civil armed forces.
The ECC also approved a grant of Rs 200 million for FBR.
