KARACHI: Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Murtaza Wahab, pointed aim at the federal government that the Centre should publicise current status of national exchequer as circular debt crossed Rs400 billion.
While talking journalists outside the Sindh Assembly, Wahab alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government has destroyed national economy while the Centre should release Rs90 billion to the province now.
Slamming the Finance Minister, the advisor said Asad Umar had made tall claims but has done nothing while agendaless government destroyed economy of the country.
He questioned silence over Karachi package, saying the Centre should provide details of Rs60 billion package announced by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail for the metropolis. Wahab also raised questions over progress on implementation on National Action plan (NAP) during last six months of PTI government.
Wahab added that Prime Minister adopted a single point agenda of levelling allegations [against opponents] but nothing else in term of national development. Nationals wanted PM Imran Khan to commence [development] work but not to only raise slogans.
