Islamabad (October 12, 2017): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Naeemul Haq on Thursday said that the economy of the country was shaky, advising Army Chief not to rely and trust the statistics of the government.
Talking to media outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Haq said that Army Chief yesterday’s address in Karachi was very important. He advised the COAS not to rely on government statistics regarding economy rather have briefing from independent economics and experts.Dubbing Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as puppet prime minister, the PTI leader alleged that Abbasi was still receiving instructions from Nawaz Sharif for running the government.
He said that PTI’s demand for fresh election was justified. He informed that PTI chief had instructed party leader Baber Awan to approach Supreme Court over FATA’s merger.
He also criticized Maulana Fazlur Rehman over his stance on FATA reforms.
