ECP Asks Political Parties To Submit Party Assets of 2018-2019

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission Of Pakistan (ECP) has asked all the political parties of the country to submit their parties assets and liabilities of the year 2018-2019.

As per the ECP, all the political parties are bound to submit their asset details till before August 28 in which they will inform their yearly and income and expenditures.

The ECP said that the political parties have to inform their sources of income and they are not allowed to gather funds from banned sources.

The election body informed that political parties could receive farm-D from the ECP offices around the country.

It is pertinent to mention here that the ECP has issued assets and liabilities of members of National Assembly yesterday.

As per the ECP Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan owns 100. 82 million worth of properties while he did’ nt declare the worth of his Bani Gala residence and showed it received in a gift. He has also declared his spouse assets, Bushra Bibi owns a house in Bani Gala measuring three-canals and a land in Pakpatan measuring 266-canals while the PM maintains accounts in dollar, pound and euro while he also the owner of four goats worth of Rs 0.2 million while he also owns 6.2 marla agriculture and commercial land.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari owns assets worth of Rs 660 million while he did not own any property abroad and owns horses and animals worth of Rs 10 million as well. Besides he also owns ammunition worth of Rs 10. 66 million.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari included among the richest members of the assembly as he owns assets worth of Rs 1. 54 billion while he also has shares in two villas in Dubai.

The Opposition leader of NA, Shahbaz Sharif owns assets worth of more than Rs 180. 96 million while her wife Nusrat Shahbaz owns assets of worth Rs 230 million while his another wife Tehmina Durrani owns asset of Rs 5.7 million while he has also declared his assets in abroad where he owns assets worth of Rs 140 million while he also owns flat in London.

Ex-premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi owns assets of worth Rs 600 million while Shiekh Rasheed owns assets of worth Rs 30. 58 million while he also has an amount of Rs 80.73 million in bank balance besides prize bonds worth of Rs 2.5 million.

Rana Sana Ullah owns assets of Rs 60.6  million while Khursheed Shah owns assets of Rs 60 million.
