Islamabad (June 07, 2018): Election Commission has extended the last date for filing nomination papers from Friday to Monday next to facilitate all aspiring candidates of general elections.
In a statement today, the commission said nomination papers for reserved seats for women and non-Muslims can also be filed till Monday.
It said priority lists of candidates for reserved seats should also be submitted until Monday.
The ECP has also extended the submission of the list for women and minorities seats. The political parties can now submit the lists for provincial assemblies till June 11 to concern election commission offices while lists for National Assembly can be submitted in election commission office Islamabad.
ECP has set the July 5 last date for the submission of postal ballots. The government employees far from their respective areas can cast their votes through postal ballot in election 2018.
