ECP issues Asset details of 49 Parties, AML emerges as Poorest

Islamabad (May 23, 2017): Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released assets details 2016 of 49 political parties as Awami Muslim League emerged as poorest party of the country.

According to ECP’s details of 2016, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has provided the party assets details of each province separately. PML-N showed income of 320 million rupees along with total assets of 300 million rupees and expenses of Rs 9.3 million, Party has transferred Rs 5.5 million to its Punjab chapter.

PPP mentioned income of Rs 110 million, expense Rs 28.9 million and showed party’s total assets of Rs 5.5 million.

PTI total expense were 17 million rupees and income of Rs 230 million. It mentioned funds from workers and local bodies election fee were its resources of income.

MQM-Pakistan showed income of Rs 230 million and expenses Rs 170 million.  ANP mentioned total party assets of Rs 28.4 million, PML-Q 50 million and Jamaat-e-Islami has the assets of Rs 6.16 million.

The Sheikh Rasheed’s Awami Muslim League poorest party in the country as its total assets were .296 million rupees.
