ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued its list for elections on 16 seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly which will take place on July 02.
As per the issued notification, Returning officer will issue a public notice on May 07 whereas, the candidates can submit their nomination papers in ECP from May 09 till 11.
Names of nominated candidates will be revealed on May 12 and the process of a thorough examination of the nomination forms will be concluded till May 18, the notification stated.
It added that the last date for filing an appeal against decisions of the returning officers regarding acceptance or rejection of the nomination papers is 22nd May.
Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers by 29th of this month whilst on the same day, the revised list of candidates will be published, the notification stated.
Moreover, election symbol to the contesting candidates will be allotted by May 30.
On the other hand, ECP has banned any transfer, appointment and development work at police stations.
