ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday has issued instructions for candidates contesting elections on provincial assembly seats in tribal areas and NA-205 Ghotki that the election campaign will end in the tribal areas on the intervening night of July 18 and 19 and in NA-Ghotkhi on intervening night of July 16 and 17.
The ECP in his instructions clarified that all the candidates of the tribal areas and the contestants of the by-election on NA- 205 will not be allowed to run the election campaign after the end date of the election campaign.
After the end of the election campaign, no candidates will be allowed to bring any rally, congregation and any election campaign in their constituency while those who violated the ECP instructions will be fined.
It is pertinent to mention here that by-election on NA-2015 will be held on July 18while elections on 16 provincial assembly seats of the tribal areas will be held on July 20.
