ECP Receive Complaints from Multiple Polling Stations

Web Desk (July 25, 2018): Election Commission of Pakistan continues to receive the series of complains regarding general elections 2018.

ECP receives complaint regarding delay in polling process at polling station 17 of NA-83 in Kamoke, Punjab.Voters had to face difficulties due to delay in polling process at NA-83 in Kamoke.Previously, ECP receives first complaint regarding general election 2018 from Punjab constituency, PP-53. Complaint has been forwarded to concerned returning officer. According to complainer, single presiding officer is present at a combined polling station.

Polling staff of station 71 of NA-161 and PP-227 in Lodhran, couldn’t reach the polling station on time. Voters waiting in queues outside the polling station, started protest against polling staff.On the other hand, another complaint received by ECP is regarding unavailability ink at polling station 251, Jacobabad.

Polling was delayed at different polling stations of constituency NA-110, Faisalabad.

According to details, polling staff couldn’t reach the polling stations on time in NA-114, Faisalabad, due to which process wasn’t initiated.

Apart from this, polling process was not initiated in stations 145, 146 and 147 of NA-110, as well. Long queues of people are waiting outside polling stations to cast their vote.
