Islamabad: A notification of approval of the senate resolution regarding postponing the general elections has been received to the Election Commission of Pakistan on Saturday.
The ECP will deliberate upon the Upper house of the parliament approved resolution.
The copies of approval of the resolution has been sent to President of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq Kakar.
Under the resolution the ECP has been directed to change the schedule of the general elections owing to the country situation.
While the ECP has also been directed to present the report within two months.
