Islamabad: It has been decided in the interprovincial huddle on education to open the educational institutes in a phase-wise from September 15.
In the first phase schools and colleges providing education from class ninth to degree and university level classes will be opened from September 15.
Classes from 6th grade to 8th grade will be opened in the next phase from September 22 while Pre-Primary classes will be opened from Septemeber 30 in the third phase.
Sources said that after the opening of the higher educational institutes the coronavirus will be monitored and and its SOPs will be implemented strictly.
Besides that, the huddle also considers a suggestion opening of hostels linked to the educational institutes, however, the final decision will be taken in the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) meeting.
All the provincial education ministers agreed that the educational institues of the country be opened in a phase wise.
