Eid congregations hold across country, political figures offer Eid prayers

Eid-ul Adha is being celebrated with religious fervor  and enthusiasm across Pakistan today, where Eid congregations were held in large and small Masajid and Imam Bargah with religious spirit in Pakistan.

President Mamnoon Hussain offered Eid prayer at State guest house in Karachi, where he said on Eid eve that the country needs selflessness, sacrifice and brotherhood to cope with the country’s problems.

Whereas, former Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gillani offered the Eid prayer at Moosa park, Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif offered  namaz at Raiwind.

Governor of Sindh, Ishrat-ul Ibaad offered the namaz at Polo ground, where he said that traders have gained confidence after peace has been maintained in Karachi, strict action would be taken on violation of code of conduct relates to sacrificial animal skin.

Meanwhile,the largest congregation was held at Badshahi Masjid in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, where thousands of Muslims have offered Eid prayer, after which special prayers were offered for country’s security and safety and Hajj pilgrims, who lost their lives Mina tragedy after offering the Eid prayer.

Senetor Siraj-ul Haq offered the eid prayer in Mansura, meanwhile Ameer Jamat Dawa, Hafiz Mohammad Saeed led the eid prayer at Gaddafi Stadium.Former Speaker Ayyaz Saddiq offered the Eid namaz at Mansura, however, Eid congregations were hold in Minar Pakistan, Jinnah Bagh, Raees course, Jamia Ashrafiya and Jamia Al-Muntazir.

Moreover, Muslims sacrificed the animals by following Sunnat-i Ibrahimi, whereas, collective sacrifice have been arranged in several places including Jamia Naeema, Jamia Ashrafiya, Jamiya Mansura.
