Eid Milad-un Nabi (PBUH): CM Buzdar, Firdous Send Greetings to Muslims

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Saturday extended their special greetings to the Muslim Community on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

In their separate messages, they said the Prophet (PBUH) established a welfare state and a role model society on the earth by better management.

CM Buzdar’s message on auspicious occasion

In his message, the Punjab CM said that the “personality of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a blessing for the whole humanity as His (PBUH) life is a reflection of the Holy Quran which has complete guidance and direction for the Muslim Ummah.”

CM Buzdar said that the character and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provide a solution to all the problems of life. Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), who is the benefactor of the whole humanity.

He said that Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) taught the lesson of peace, tranquillity, respect of humanity, equality, forgiveness and justice.

“By following the teachings of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the menace of injustice, cruelty and lawlessness can be eradicated from society,” CM Buzdar said adding that by following Sunnah of Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Pakistan could be made a citadel of peace and harmony.

“This day provides the Muslim world the best opportunity to follow the teachings of Quran and Sunnah in a real manner and should also reiterate to spend lives according to the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUM),” he concluded.

Firdous sends special felicitations to Muslim Ummah

The special assistant sent out special felicitations to the Muslim community on the day associated with the birth of the final prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

In a series of tweets, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the life of the Prophet (PBUH) was a shining example of how a Muslim should conduct himself throughout his/her journey on this planet.

She continued that the personality of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was a beacon of light and hope for the believers and should guide those that follow on the path of righteousness.

The SAPM added that by adopting the teachings and conduct of the prophet (PBUH), Muslims can themselves become glaring examples of tolerance, fraternity, love, equality and brotherhood.

The special assistant said in conclusion that by being subservient to the teachings of the Prophet (SAWW), one can love, promote and cultivate the notions of humanity and humane values.
