Eight culprits executed in various jails in Pakistan

At least eight death row prisoners have been executed in several jails including Attock, Multan, Kasur, Sargodha, Jhang and Gujarat, where criminals met their relatives before execution while high security arrangements were made across the jails, heavy contingents were deployed out there.

Three prisoners were sentenced to death in Attock district jail, culprit Muhammad Usman and his father Aftab Ahmed faced death penalty in charge of killing Ahmed Khan and his son Pervaiz Khan due to domestic dispute in 1998, another prisoner Muhammad Safdar was executed in charge of killing Muhammad Akram and Muhammad Ashraf on land issue in 2003, who were residents of Khushab.

Whereas, a criminal Nayyer Abass was hanged in Multan jail for killing a man over minor dispute in Muzaffargarh in 1996.

 In Kasur district jail, Muhammad Tufail was sentenced to death due to killing his father over minor dispute in 2001, Muhammad Nawaz was hanged in Sargodah district jail in charge of killing his relative over land issue in 2003.

However, Ahmed Din in district jail of Jhang, Gulfam in district jail of Gujrat were hanged in charge of killing incidents in 2001.
