ISLAMABAD: Spokesperson of the Foreign Office on Friday informed that the eight of the Pakistanis have been burried at a local graveyard in Christchurch according to Islamic rituals.
Dr Faisal took to Twitter and shared informed that remaining eight Pakistanis have been buried at a local graveyard in Christchurch, New Zealand.
He wrote on his timeline; “Today, 8 Pakistani Shaheed have been buried in a local graveyard in Christchurch according to Islamic rituals.”

“More than 20 family members, who flew from Pakistan, were able to join,” he added.
“Travel of these family members was facilitated by Foreign office and the NZ govt,” he further added.
“The funeral was attended by more than 5000 people, of which there were about 1500 Muslims, who came from all over NZ,” he said.

“Our High Commissioner and the High Commission staff remains in Christchurch to continue assistance to the bereaved families,” he concluded.
