In Punjab, ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad has achieved positive results in eliminating terrorists and their facilitators.
Staff Officer of Pakistan Rangers Punjab, Col Amjad Iqbal briefing newsmen in Lahore today said that five terrorists of Balochistan Liberation Army have been killed and two apprehended in an operation in Chhera Thal area of border belt of Dera Ghazi Khan. He said that Sepoy Kamran of Pakistan Rangers embraced martyrdom in the operation.
He said three terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in Taunsa area of DG Khan district. Suicide jackets and large amount of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
The Staff Officer said that a wanted criminal has also been taken into custody during a combing operation in Attock.
