Karachi: England have decided to field first after winning the toss against Pakistan in the first match of seven-match T-20 series.
England are on their first tour of Pakistan for 17 years, in a series seen as part of the build-up towards the ICC’s Men Twenty20 World Cup scheduled for next month in Australia.
The seven-match series first four matches will be played in Karachi while other three will be hosted by Lahore in Qaddafi Stadium.
From Pakistan side Shan Masood will debut during series first match in Karachi replacing Fakhar Zaman.
On the other hand England skipper Joze Buttler and fast bowlers are injured. In the absence of the English skipper Moin Ali will lead the team.
The unprecedented seven-match series will serve as a perfect launch pad for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup in Australia, allowing them to try out different combinations for the mega event.
