KARACHI: The coronavirus has not only causing deaths but also bleeding the economy worldwide as in Pakistan it has made great damaged to Pakistan Stock Exchange and 100-index dropped by 2257 points during the week.
The business week started from 30667 and ended with 28,109 that showed the decline of the index by 8.34 per cent. During the week the lowest level was 2704 and the highest point was 30, 667.
Total trading during the week was 600 million shares as the value of the shares was 17.75 billion. The market capitalisation has dropped by 433 billion rupees and reached at 5,474 rupees.
