Lahore: Provincial Minister for prisons Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan has said that our determination is to establish balance between discipline and rights of the prisoners.
The Minister presided and departmental meeting where in the scuffle of two groups at Adiyala Jail Rawalpindi was discussed. The meeting was briefed on access to drugs and mobile phone in the prisons.
Addressing the meeting the Minister said that a special operation is being conducted at the Adiyala Jail Rawalpindi against drugs, mobile phones and gangsters adding that the government will go to any extent for eradication of mafia elements and drugs.
Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan said that no under-world gang and mafia will not be allowed to take law into hands in any prison of Punjab.
