FAISALABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Wednesday in joint-press conference announced as much as 500 schemes for the district which will cost Rs152 billion, AbbTakk News reported.
Talking to media during a joint-press conference Punjab CM said that in the past the CM hasn’t sanctioned any development projects for Faisalabad and the people are asking our MPAs and MNAs for the development projects.
On a question about journalist colony, he said that our representatives are in the city and I announce a journalist colony for journalists of Faisalabad.
The CM said that we have been directed by the Prime Minister to visit Faisalabad. The government is intended to launch 500 developmental projects for the city with the help of an amount worth Rs152billion.
He also lauded the premier on a successful visit to the US and also lauded the country’s military for the countless sacrifices they rendered to revive peace in the country.
