FAISALABAD: Trading community of the major industrial city of Faisalabad on Monday announced to observe a two-day strike of all processing units over the imposition of 17 per cent sales tax.
Exhibiting strong opposition to federal government’s stance on sales tax, All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran have affirmed that all small and big-scale markets will remain shut on Monday and Tuesday.
In this regard, police were observed holding a flag march which witnessed participation of police officials in humongous numbers.
