ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inssaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Thursday filed review petitions against the Faizabad Sit-in verdict in the Supreme Court (SC).
In the petition, MQM-P said that apex court decision in the Faizabad sit-in case is the violation of constitution clause.
“Paragraph 22 of Faizabad sit-in Verdict is against the law. The paragraph 23 and 24 has compared Faizabad sit-in with May 12 massacre,” says MQM-P in a petition.
On the other hand, the PTI in its plea has obtained stance that SC should review its verdict as it has mentioned PTI’s 2014 sit-in in the verdict.
