Islamabad (November 25, 2017): Security forces are ready to take action against the protestors at Faizabad Interchange as another deadline given by the government has expired at 7 am today.
Additional contingents of FC and Rangers are deployed in the area for the assistance of police. Security forces have evacuated markets, restaurants and bus stations in the area. Senior officers of police and the city administrations have arrived at Faizabad to monitor the expected operation.

Sources said that IG police Islamabad and RPO Rawalpindi will lead the operation against the protesters. Security forces may use water cannons, tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the protesters. Interior ministry sources said that Faizabad will be evacuated today at any cost in compliance with the court orders.
Rangers will take control of Faizabad after the operation, said the sources.
