ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad on Wednesday handed over the accused Hussain Lawai and Taha Raza in the fake account case to NAB on 12 days judicial remand.
The anti-graft body NAB presented Hussain Lawai and Taha Raza from Adiala Jail to AC of Islamabad to get their physical remand.
The anti-corruption body’s prosecutor insisting for 12-day physical remand argued that the accused bought a home after taking a loan of a sum Rs 13. 77 billion for recovery of further documents remand is given.
The NAB counsel further told the court the Chairman NAB has already issued an arrest warrant of the accused.
The Court accepting the insistence of the NAB prosecutor has given the physical remand and ordered to present the accused on July 1.
