ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party co-chairman and former president Asif Zardari on Wednesday decided not to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case pertaining to the fake bank accounts today (Thursday).
the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had summoned former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in an eighth inquiry pertaining to the fake bank accounts case on May 23 at NAB’s headquarter.
According to sources, the former president has taken a decision after a meeting with his lawyers. The PPP co-chairman has also returned to Karachi from Islamabad.
Sources have also informed that the former president is feeling unwell after his health deteriorated last night.
It is pertinent to mention here that the PPP leader is on an interim bail which was granted by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
