KARACHI: A case has been registered over the fake police encounter near Nipa Bridge in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of the city while a police personnel involved in it has also turned out be fake.
Police has also included Section 302 on the protest of the family of deceased Atiqullah whose funeral prayer has been offered inhis ancestral Pashin.
There is no record of fake police personnel Zafar and according to SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal Zafar’s services were acquired for security arrangements during Muharram.
The fake police personnel could be seen searching both the deceased and the wounded in the mobile footage.
Deceased Atiqullah and his cousin Azizullah shot by police on the evening of Saturday October 8 when both the motorcycle riders were signaled to stop. According to injured Azizullah despite stopping the police had opened fire.
AbbTakk has acquired the mobile footage of the fake police encounter which has exposed the attempt to show that the fake encounter took place at 8 o’clock in the night.
Taking notice of telecast of news by AbbTakk Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had said that police is there to serve and protect the people and that blood of no innocent person would be allowed to be spilled. IG Police Sindh A D Khawaja has also issued order for high level probe while Nabeel and Zafar who are involved in the fake encounter are behind bars.
