Whether or not Shahid Afridi play the farewell match in his honor or not will be decided by the PCB tomorrow during a meeting tomorrow. However, the meeting between Afridi and Najam Sethi scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to what sources said was personal engagements of Shahid.
A few days ago CEO PCB Subhan Ahmad had stated that the decision to let Afridi and Saeed Ajmal will be made on September 26.
Saeed Ajmal has already rejected PCB’s offer announcing continuing playing the game.
Pakistan has already won the first two T-20 matches of the three-match series against West Indies and thus Afridi could be offered to play the third match which if he does not play he has to wait for his farewell match till next year.
