Entertainment Desk (October 19, 2018): For the past few days, one piece of news doing rounds is that singer turned actor Farhan Saeed – who was last seen in popular drama serial Suno Chanda alongside Iqra Aziz – will be making his cinematic debut with Wajahat Rauf’s Karachi Se Lahore 3.
Even pictures went viral where Farhan can be seen with the cast and crew of the upcoming movie. In a bid to know whether the news is true or not, Instep got in touch with director Wajahat Rauf, the man behind Karachi Se Lahore franchise, who also hosts a popular online show Voice Over Man.
“The news of Farhan Saeed being a part of my upcoming movie is not confirmed as yet,” informed the director.
Wajahat Rauf didn’t reveal anything at this point but said that he will make an announcement as soon as things get finalized.
Till then we’ll have to wait and see if Farhan Saeed is a part of the third installment of Wajahat Rauf’s franchise film, which has been penned by Yasir Hussain.
For now, all we know is that the third installment of Karachi Se Lahore is not a road trip movie and will have more comedy than romance. The upcoming film is scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Fitr, next year, which means it’ll go up against Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jatt.
