Farooq Sattar likely to be discraged from hospital today

KARACHI:   Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Dr Farooq Sattar’s health condition is improving well and he is likely to be discharged from Liaqat National Hospital (LNH) today.

It is to be mentioned here that Dr Sattar, his assistant and three guards suffered injuries late on last Sunday evening when his bulletproof car crashed near the Nooriabad police station on the Superhighway when he was returning to Karachi from Hyderabad.

According to LNH spokesman Anjum Rizvi, Dr Sattar was still feeling pain in his body parts which received injuries, but he was improving well and might be discharged soon.

On the other hand, leaders of different political and religious parties visited Dr Sattar at LNH on first Day of Eid and inquired about his health. A delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami visited him at the hospital and presented him a flower bouquet  on behalf of JI Pakistan chief Sirajul Haq.

Chairman Ruyat-e-Hilal Committe Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman also visited LNH and met Farooq Sattar to inquire about his health. Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad also telephoned Dr Sattar and inquired about his health. He wished him early recovery.
