Sattar Submits Nomination Papers From 3 Constituencies

Karachi (June 09, 2018): MQM-Pakistan Leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday finally submitted his nomination papers to contest in upcoming general polls.

According to the details, Farooq Sattar along with his lawyers reached the city court to submit his nomination papers for three seats of the National Assembly.

Farooq Sattar has submitted his nomination papers for NA 245 Korangi, said he is submitting his nomination papers for NA 241, NA 247.

On the other hand, MQM Bahadurabad’s Arif Khan has also submitted his nomination papers for NA 241.Speaking to media after submitting his nomination papers, he said at least 10 million of Karachi population was now shown in the final census in an attempt to dent the vote bank of the city.

He also accused the Pakistan People’s Party of disturbing electoral atmosphere.

He claimed that elections would be influenced via money used by aspiring candidates. He said if polls were held with this approach and unfairness, then its result won’t be called transparent. “Sit-in will also be staged subsequently,” he warned.

Sattar said the moves to push MQM against the wall should now end. He said whether it was minus one formula or minus MQM,

He underlined that MQM was a single faction in the past and it will remain the same in future.

Expressing reservation on the caretaker government, the MQM leader said the interim setup in the province was almost another side of the PPP.

It may be recalled that on June 06, Farooq Sattar hinted out at not to contest upcoming polls.
