Fawad Alam Ignored Again in 1st Test

RAWALPINDI: The unlucky Fawad Alam after being selected for the squad, has been dropped from first test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. 

Haris Sohail, who was a complete flop in Australia tour, received another chance. Meanwhile, Fawad Alam after a dramatic comeback will have to wait more to prove himself.

Fawad Alam with his excellent performance in Quadi-i-azam Trophy recently completed his 12,000 runs in domestic cricket.

Fawad have 32 centuries under his belt in 164 first class matches, seven of them were scored in national stadium Karachi.

In international cricket, Fawad has played three test matches and scored 250 runs with an average of 41.66 runs. Meanwhile, in One Day Internationals, Fawad has scored 966 runs with the average of 40.25 in 38 matches.

The Karachi native, waited for a decade to make a comeback in longest format of the game.
