ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Science and Technology on Tuesday slammed the critics of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.
Addressing a session of National Assembly he said that few people do criticize Armed Forces of Pakistan.
“Military is a disciplined organization as none of the Generals’ son can retain the higher post without merit,” he added.
“We should have to strengthen our civilian institutions rather than criticizing the military,” he further added.
“Only Imran Khan-led PTI opted a principal stance against corruption,” said Fawad.
“Imran promised to the masses that he will make the looters cry and fulfilled it,” added Fawad.
“We promised to put thieves behind the bars and we did that,” Fawad further said.
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif by continuing its speech said that I have an old relation with Fawad’s family and will respect it, by adding that he said that but I have sympathy with the latter over the lack of respect shown to him by his party.
Khawaja Asif also termed the ‘Charter of Economy’ as ‘Joke of Economy’ and said that it shouldn’t be signed between the government and opposition but it should be signed between the political parties.
