Fawad’s Ban In Senate, PM Imran Intervenes In Case

Islamabad (November 16, 2018): Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed concerns over the matter of banning Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s entrance in the Senate until he submits an apology.

In a telephonic contact, PM Khan discussed the matter with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and urged him to resolve the matter with mutual understanding.

Whereas, Senate Chairman also informed the Premier that Fawad Chaudhry’s aggressive behavior is causing difficulties in holding the Senate sessions.

Earlier yesterday (November 16), the opposition walked out in Senate session over Fawad Choudhary’s address.

The members of the opposition walked out the Senate session over Fawad Choudary’s address and demanded an apology from the Minister.

Chairman Senate Sajid Sanjrani expressed severe annoyance over Info Minister Fawad and has banned him in the Senate until the minister apologizes for his words.

Chairman Senate got very crossed and said that Fawad Choudhary must correct his attitude in the Senate from onwards. Moreover, Senator Moula Baksh Chandio labelled Fawad Choudhary as a ‘thug’ and alleged him for disrupting the peaceful atmosphere of Senate sessions every now and then.Hasil Bizenjo also had his say on the event, he said that Chairman Senate Sajid Sanjrani’s decision of banning Fawad Choudhary until he submits an apology will guide Senate in the correct direction.

Senator Sherry Rehman also lauded the Senate Chairman’s decision and labelled his ruling as historic and significant.
