Fazalur Rahman demands to extend Afghan refugees stay by 2021

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) and five other political parties demanded of the federal government to extend Afghan refugees stay in Pakistan by 2021.

The six poetical parties hold a meeting at JUI-F chief Fazalur Rahman’s house in Islamabad. Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siajul Haq, Ghulam Ahmad Bilour of Awami National Party, Afrasiab Khattak, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Amir Muqam and representatives of Qaumi Watan Party were present in the meeting.

While addressing to media, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman expressed concerns over ill-treatment with Afghan refugees. He said that stay of registered Afghan refugees should be increased and unregistered Afghan refugees should be registered.

JUI-chief said that he will raise Afghan refugees issues before Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said Afghan refugees should be given rights according to international laws. He said Afghan refugees were being harassed and their CNICs being blocked.
