FBR fails to achieve tax revenue target in September

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has once again failed to achieve target for tax revenue in September, as the target was fixed with 281.7 billion for the month of September. However, FBR has achieved 130 billion by the help of taxes, however, 152 billion are remaining this month.

Whereas, FBR has failed to to achieve target for tax revenue in the third month of this year, in last six days of the third month, 152 billion of tax would need to collect for achieving the target, which seems difficult due to holidays of Eid-ul Adha.

According to FBR sources, the target of 281.7 billion once again has not achieved for the month of September, because FBR could gain 123 billion only.

It is to mention here that earlier before FBR officials were behind 33 billion in achieving target of tax revenue during initial two months of this year, 2015.
