Kohlu (September 18, 2018): The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan on Monday averted a major terrorist bid and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition during an intelligence-based operation in Kohlu district.
According to FC Balochistan spokesperson, the operation was carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.The spokesperson further informed that the operation was carried out on intelligence reports during which huge quantity of explosive material, four missiles, 11 mortar bombs, one RPG and hundreds of bullets were recovered from the hideouts of terrorists.
Earlier on September 10, a major terrorist activity had been averted in Balochistan after FC personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation in Zhob and recovered 21 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on Monday, said ISPR.
ISPR said in a statement that the mines were recovered during an operation in Qamar Din area of Zhob district.
