Islamabad (September 27, 2018): The federal cabinet meeting chaired by the prime minister Imran Khan on Thursday contemplated on the country’s present law and order and economic situation.
According to details, the federal cabinet deeply discussed the government’s first month performance, 100-day plan, law and order situation and economic reforms. PM Imran also briefed cabinet about his recent visit to Saudi Arabia.

Finance minister Asam Umer has taken the cabinet in confidence over his talks with International Monitory Fund (IMF).
In the last meeting, the Federal cabinet discussed the 9-point agenda of assets recovery unit, which was approved aimed to bring back looted money from abroad.
The Assets Recovery Unit (ARU) will be empowered to get any kind of information from any federal or provincial department and the relevant department will share the information within seven days.
“Any such information, so required by the relevant government department shall be made available within seven working days of receiving the request,” say the terms of reference (TORs) of the ARU submitted by Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP) Anwar Mansoor Khan to the Supreme Court on Wednesday.The ARU through the law-enforcement agency (LEA) or any relevant department may seek such assistance and information including but not limited to bank accounts, records of companies, revenue records, travel record or data from the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA).
